couldn't take care of them anymore because they were too

colton is incredibly close with his mother nyx and often is
by her side 24/7. he really doesn't ever stray from her side
and unlike her otherwise very toxic and scary demeanor, she
would do anything for her son and loves him to bits <3 !!

she especially loves teaching him how to formulate weird animals
and fuse genetics so he can make he own pets to care for !!

also she loves to teach him about botany and you will often find
him wearing flower crowns or caring for plants and also loves to
create and genetically make his own !

"i was thinking how the au goes, it that they continue on through certain games
and every time they beat a game. 'the crew' (which im going to have it be probably
sophie and tate for a general thing that stay throughout and then which kalon/s
you would like to throw in) is going to have the choice to stay within that game,
or they can choose to move onto a different game, in which all of them end up
going through some sort of cosmic/matrix warp-drive like thing and are like
split up into pixels and such then re-programmed into a different game. but the
twist is, they are able to keep one backpack of their choice, and whatever they
can fit in that backpack, which acts as their 'inventory' between games and they
can pretty much hold anything and everything they want, they can take it with
them through their game jumps. but due to these game jumps, they sometimes
are not re-programmed to be together!

so say like in the minecraft au, they are all dropped off into different parts of the
world and the only way they can find each other is by adventuring around and
hopefully running into each other! then the only way they can leave is if all of them
together beat the enderdragon and when they do that, if they want to grab anything
before they leave, they can choose the choice to [ stay ] ( on their wrists, they all
have bracelets that they cannot remove ) and then they will stay in the minecraft
universe for as long as they please, but once one person switches on their bracelet
and presses that they want to leave. they will all be sent into the next game. now say
this game is pokemon. the only way they can beat the game is if they all get to the
champion and beat every single trainer.

the catch with all the games is that in every game they go into, they can choose up
to 5 items in which they want to put into their 'inventory' and take with them. be it
a pokemon, a diamond sword, or even a wolf from minecraft, but they can only take
5 things.

theres still some more things im thinking of and adjusting with how i want this au to
be like ie: will it ever end? and like what do they look like going into games like minecraft?
(ie: do they get all blocky?) etc etc"

Please note poncho pals aren't a 'closed species' in the traditional sense, they're just some silly little creatures i enjoy making. They dont have much of a body, so i call them poncho pals for my own fun. I don't own the concept of making minimalist spooky adopts. With that being said, if you want to create your own Poncho Pal and have it recognized by us, the group of Poncho Pals, you must purchase or earn the right to make your own or get a custom.

important note 1; this species is not related to, nor inspired by, sleepygrim's poncho pals. until 10/13/2017 i was not even aware of the species. both name and concept are highly coincidental, poncho pals was simply a name i gave my guys when talking about them irl to my boyfriend. however, my idea didn't come out of thin air; i was inspired by poetickitten of da to create minimalist shadow creatures, and my Poncho Pals reflect that.
important note 2; sleepygrim is fully aware of my species' existence and has given her full and complete consent and support of me continuing my own version of the species including the name.

How to get a Poncho Pal?

You can obtain a Poncho Pal by getting them through adopts made my myself or the artists! there are also other ways like through gacha events, events in general, breeding, myos, etc!

What are the rarities?

Not much is known about the 'rarities' of the Poncho Pals' traits, as most are very unique in all their own ways! However, it's rumored that after a certain number are released, they'll all be checked for rarities....

Who knows? You might find yourself in possession of a rare Poncho Pal?

What is an HM?

An HM stands for Honorable Mention --- it means that your form stood out so much to me that I thought you deserved a little something extra! An HM is used as alternate currency in the Empoerium --- you can use it to buy breeding items, MYO tickets, and possibly a custom!
