Hi, guys! Pretty darn new to this thread. Mostly just marking right now. I've been writing lately with two stories in mind, primarily. One's a fanfiction and the other's an original work, both multichapter.

I hope I can contribute to the conversation a little.

When you start writing a new thing, as a first draft, do you focus on your grammar straight away? Or do you write it out, then go back and edit the grammar?
Well, I fix any mistakes I see, first and second draft, but I don't look back and edit the first draft becuase I just fix any mistakes when I write it again.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist.. so if I see a grammar mistake, it's hard for me to let it be until later. xD I'd say with the outline I'm working on rn (haven't touched it in a few days cuz I've been helping my friend with a story, though ;-;) I pretty much just write, and when I'm done a chapter outline of something like that I look back for mistakes. But, since it's just an outline, it doesn't have to be perfect cx

that's actually a really good question. honestly, i have a hard time writing something if the grammar doesn't look right to me. i'll get caught up on it and won't be able to continue writing until i think it flows right. so i usually pay attention to that sort of thing as i write.

So, I was futzing around with a dress up game and came up with a bunch of demons and one human, and some dialogue popped into my head. 1. would you like to see it, and 2. do you guys think I should start writing this or wait until I have other projects finished?

Yes. Actually that's how all my storys start. '3' I just can't sit down and tell me "And now write!" and write. I have to be motivated and I must have this ideas.

Yes! The first one mainly, becuase I just think of an awesome scene and I'm like, I need to write this down. But what good is it without the rest of the story?
