Sheesh holy crud I'm late to the party! Happy nine hundred, you beautiful people.
@New People
Hello and welcome! Stay away from Dummkopf; he keeps trying to feed us carrots.
How difficult do you find it to kill off your characters?
I'm not a very emotional person, so I usually don't get too sad over the characters that are designated to die. But sometimes I get really attached and will end up bending the entire story so that someone else gets killed.
Describe your OCs to us!
I can't do this in a reasonably short amount of words; my answer would probably bloat to essay length.
Have you finished a book?
Depends on what you mean by finished. I have one draft complete and I'm working on the second, but the current piece isn't a project I'd let anyone see. Also, my definition of book isn't "finished writing project"; it's a story in the form of a rectangular prism made of dead trees and ink--so it has to be actually printed with a fancy cover and all that. Maybe I'm just being pretentious, I don't know.
Speaking of professionalism, what, in your opinion, constitutes someone being a "professional writer"?
I equate "professional writer" to "author"; a professional is published and/or makes money off of their work. I think anyone with dedication can call themselves a writer, but it has to be a job, not a hobby, to be professional in my eyes.
