Hello and welcome to my little thread! I'm not going to mess around with lots of decoration for fear you'll get distracted. The idea of this challenge is to let the writer - that's you, by the way - practice and improve their literature-writing skills. Themes will be one-word only, and that word will be a color. The writer can then use that word in any way as the theme for a piece of writing that can be presented in any form: a story, poem, letter, script or anything else you can think of! There is no limit to how much you can write, but as this challenge was designed to challenge writers like you, I suggest you aim for a minimum of three hundred words.
There are no rules really, only guide-lines that I cannot enforce and common-sense things. These are:
i. Follow all site rules
ii. Please post on the thread with a link to your thread! I will read every single person's pieces of writing.
iii. Stick to the themes
iv. Don't skip colors and do them in the right order
There are two categories that the colors will be in; The Basics and The Advanced. Please do not skip the basics! These will be easier and help you get into the swing of how we do things round here. You can use these colors in any way you want to; as a mood, the general color of the setting, a symbolic thing or something else! Eg. For green, it could be set in a forest, for red it could be a horror with a bit of blood and for pink it could be romantic.
The Basics:
i. Red
ii. Orange
iii. Yellow
iv. Green
v. Blue
vi. Purple
vii. Pink
The Advanced:
i. Crimson
ii. Aqua
iii. Emerald
iv. Mint
v. Juniper
vi. Periwinkle
vii. Lavender
viii. Violet
ix. Turquoise
The Scales:

ii. Blue Scale
iii. Purple Scale
iv. Pink Scale
v. Red Scale
The Patterns:
