Why do you write? (to escape, future career plan, etc.)
It's enjoyable; more fun than the real world :p

hiya! for mel's sake, i'm going to be helping her out a little bit since she isn't a big fan of posting, (also, yes she has given me permission to do this, don't worry, she's amazing and i love her) i'll be trying to ask you guys daily questions to have this thread be more active. i know she posted yesterday (shocking), but hey, more questions can never hurt.

    ----

Why do you write? (to escape, future career plan, etc.)
well, honestly, just for fun! basically what the poll is asking us, i really just write for fun and i have no intentions to become famous, but it would be nice (even though i never will be hah).

Do you think it's good to start writing two different books together?
i mean, i'd never do it because i would get incredibly confused between the two books, but if you want to, go for it! i don't think it would be bad to write two of them together.

    ----

now, some questions from me! there's only going to be two, but whatever.

since it's pride month (which is nearly over, i'm late, i know) i have a little question that somewhat involves it, i guess?
    Code: Select all
How often do you include LGBT+ characters in your stories?

    and one more question..!
    Code: Select all
How often do you get muse to write?

    ----

How often do you include LGBT+ characters in your stories?
not surprisingly, most of my stories include at least one lgbt character. if it's a one-shot, then it really just depends on what i feel like writing at the time, so there isn't always an lgbt character in those. but in normal stories, like ones i'd post on here (in its own thread)/wattpad include at least one (or two) characters that are in the community.

How often do you get muse to write?
not often honestly! haha. i guess it just kind of comes to me whenever and i get this random spark of motivation to write something? however, the kalon summer event is helping me get back into writing, which is fantastic!

    ----

and one last thing! remember to check out the contest thread because there's a new prompt up (that i totally didn't come up with)!

(i literally copied mel's style on when she posts here i am so not sorry)

Almost always! LGBTQ rep is hella important to me

How often do you get muse to write?
Pretty much every day, but whether I actually get around to it is a whole nother story

How often do you include LGBT+ characters in your stories?
Most of the time, lol. I'm pretty sure all my main OCs are LGBTQ+ in some way. :)

How often do you get muse to write?
Sadly not that often at all. Occasionally I'll run across a good prompt that'll drive me to write something, but usually, and especially nowadays, it's all dry up in my head. Hopefully with the onset of summer and free time, I'll have the opportunity to write more, though.

Why do you write? (to escape, future career plan, etc.)
I do like writing for fun, though I also try my best to submit my writing to competitions if I can. I'd like to publish a book someday, but I don't think I'll do creative writing as my main career.

Do you think it's good to start writing two different books together?
I think it depends on the kind of person you are and how much you can focus on certain things at a time. Overall, though, it's up to the writer, and I don't see any harm in it. :) Killing two birds with one stone, so to speak.

How often do you get muse to write?
It's random. Lately, I haven't had a lot of muse or motivation, ideas have been pretty scarce, at least for the little one-shots I love doing. I have had a few... but they're just so sad.
Are there any stories that you'd love to rewrite? (Be they your own stories or others, like existing fandoms etc.)
Pretty much all of my stories need to be rewritten. I suppose one I would really like to redo is Steam Crazy, it had a lot of potential. I just needed to plan it out better.

If crediting me for art/character design then please use TheSongOfTheStars on Toyhou.se
or FiveSecondsToFly on deviantart for anywhere else

Never :p
Although tbh I'm not a fun of romance in general, so XP

How often do you get muse to write?
I almost always want to write, but I often can't be bothered XD

Maybe my first computer-written story? That was kinda cool; or BoIF or LoIR.... Idk XD

I've always been a fan of fairy tale retellings. I like the idea of doing one with a more modern spin.
