Note: All character style references in this fanfic were inspired by Nerdsman567's art. Go check out his amazing DeviantART aritst ;) I've been given permission to use this artist's character view for this, though the permissions were asked over notes, so I am unable to show the full conversation.

Now for the story..

XJ-9. Powerful, fast, and efficient. Or so she used to be before she was struck down. She had just seemed to.. disappear.. And none of her friends, Brad, Tucker, or Sheldon, knew where she went. 2 years had passed. Evil, seeing how 'Jenny' was gone, decided not to attack much, missing the fun of crushing a hero.

Until one bright summer morning, the hero was awoken. XJ-9, referred to as Jenny, had been remade. Bigger, better, and more powerful. She was thinner and lighter, and made of more hefty steel. She had a more feminine frame. She now had a holographic 'dome' for her face. From the outside, you could see her face and what she was 'googling' (Built in Wifi), and from within, she could see things with more vibrant colors. She now held more realistic weapons for this age, like pistols, tasers, and an AK-47, just in case. She had a built in cloaking device, able to cloak her in a skin like form to look as whom she wished.

"XJ-9?" A distant voice called. Jenny shifts slightly. "XJ-9?" The voice called again, a lot more clear than it was moments ago. "Can you hear me?" The voice belonged to Dr.Wakemen, Jenny's creator. "Hn.." Jenny shifts again, beginning to regain vision. She blinks, clearing her cloudy vision to see her 'mother' standing beside her. "How... long was I out?" Jenny frowns. She didn't feel like herself. "2 years.." Dr.Wakemen's expression lightens faintly. "2 years!?" Jenny tenses. "XJ-9! Don't stress yourself. You're new.." Dr.Wakemen pats the blue droid's arm. "What do you mean?" Jenny frowns, slowly sitting up. It was oddly easy to sit up.. Dr.Wakemen hands Jenny a mirror. "You're a new build, in logic." She watches as Jenny stares at herself, the expression the droid girl held unreadable.

Jenny stared at herself in the mirror, a mix of anger, sadness, and curiousity passing over her face. Dr.Wakemen remained beside her. "Yon have most the same controls of your past body.. I guess you're kinda XJ10 now.." She sighs slightly in relief. She hadn't exactly been looking forward to deactivating Jenny.
