Speaking of which, how do you all handle writing multiple stories at once, if at all? Do you focus on one story mainly, switch between them, have some sort of pattern,or just forget about some of them oops ?

Ive never had to do this, but I think I would be able to handle it because I do like 3 months of planning before I even start writing. I would probably just write whichever story I was inspired to.
I'm actually thinking about planning this other book that I've been mulling over in my mind for about a year, then starting it soon.

My main focus is always war of kings, but sometimes I work on mechanical pixies or squad 337.

Try to focus mainly on one at a time, but then take little breaks and work on the others.

I cannot deal with more than one project at once, unless it's a one-shot or something like that. I used to be the type that would get bored of stories quickly and drop them once they started to slow down, but now I have sort of tunnel vision when it comes to writing; I will finish one project down to the last detail before starting a new one. Sometimes I take breaks to work on other short stories, albeit not often.

When I was a fifth grader and had just started writing, I dropped my stories right after the first few intro scenes because I had no stamina and didn't outline anything, bleh.

Rising action usually. I feel like I can't come up with something cool enough to keep going.

Yep. Yepyepyepyepyep. I usually drop 'me during rising action, because I get stuck. For months. Without having any idea where to go next. See, this is why I need to plan from now on. I planned for my most recent story, and it's still going strong!

I tend to drop stories during the rising action because I'll run out of ideas.

Pff, I always end up dropping my stories sadly, I never get past when the characters 'find out' about the plot...

Unfortunately, yes. There are all these ideas I have and then I write a bit of them down, and then I never go back to them. So . . . . I guess the rising action part, like everyone else here seems to.

1. Be working on a story
2. Have an idea for a new story
3. Start writing the new story, planning to continue both of them
4. Never work on the old story again
5. Repeat

Yep. Where I drop them is pretty random, but I never get further than rising action. I can write beginnings just fine, but then I never have enough ideas for things that happen in the middle.
