what did you learn? birds are the closest living relatives of dinosaurs, I always kinda knew but to actually say it out loud is pretty mind boggling!

I learned that Somali cats can be a whiteish color normally they are this firey color

what did you learn? We had a discussion about memories, about how after a traumatic experience that you can't remember, you can have false memories from people telling stories of the accident/or trauma, and it can be hard to remember which was real or not!

what did you learn? I learned that during the Renaissance, Raphael, the artist of "The School of Athens" began his professional career as an artist at age 11 when his father died. He had apprenticed for his father at his workshop and then over his lifetime of 37 years, he created over 185 pieces of art whereas Michelangelo who lived to 88 only created about 60 pieces of art in his lifetime and Leonardo da Vinci lived to 67 and only completed 15 pieces of art and yet he left "The Last Supper" and several other pieces incomplete. Raphael was known for completing his work on time and for having a great personality.

what did you learn? So it’s nothing grand or anything, but I learned how to make applesauce today. You literally just boil apples in a pot with some water, and mash it all up after the apples are cooked. For some reason I always thought you had to add stuff like sugar or cinnamon or nutmeg, I dunno. I just always thought there was more to it than that? Even just the process of making it, I thought it’d be more complicated? No one around where I live makes homemade applesauce, except my grandmother when I was younger, which I guess lead me to believe it was too different to make. So that came as a shock, like a guess people are just lazy around here??? Or just don’t like applesauce?? I personally adore applesauce, especially when it’s freshly made and still warm. Perfect for the winter too. In the long run it is a lot like mashed potatoes, except no one buys store bought/instant mashed potatoes here. I suppose it’s the fact that it’s called applesauce instead of mashed apples that made me think there’s more to it— Hmm applesauce does sounds more appealing. I mean, I was told you can add sugar and whatever in it if you taste it and it’s off, but generally it’s not needed.

Eek! I’m sorry I kinda rambled. I’m a talkative mood today I guess!
