Reason for Name: Goldtail was once known as simply gold; a name he received from the way his eyes burn yellow when it is dark. His suffix comes from an injury that nearly killed him in his youth. When Goldtail was still a wild barn cat he got his tail trapped in a bear trap, leaving him with a slightly crooked tail and a little bit of missing fur.

Reason for Name: windwing is the fastest cat in sageclan. as quick as she is, many cats have claimed she either has the wind on her side, or wings. honestly, she has neither, but she certainly isn't discouraging the rumors.

Reason for Name: Ivykit was given the prefix Ivy- in honor of the patching patterns of his pelt, which reminded his mother of mottled ivy leaves. As an apprentice, a small fire had started during a rainstorm near the elder's den, and the tom helped a deaf shecat who had not heard the crackling flames to safety using the dirtplace tunnel. He was given the suffix -tunnel in honor of his heroic deed, and later earned the suffix -star when Blazestar, the previous leader, passed away in his sleep.

Reason for Name: Tern, for his black and white pelt that resembles the seabird's feathers. Heart, for his devotion to his clan and it's culture. Most notably, he has always been selfless and giving to his clanmates.

Reason for Name: Being born and joining the clan with no name, when this she-cat came to Rippleclan she gave herself the prefix of Starling, after her since deceased mother by the same name. Joining the clan at apprentice age, she had to earn her warrior suffix, and so held the apprentice 'paw' for a while. Her suffix after moons of training became 'cloud', after the splatters of black on her pelt, and for the fact when leaping for birds flying away, she was said to 'leap as high as the clouds'.

Reason for Name: Moon because the dark parts of her coat looked like the darker parts of the moon, and the white on his coat like the light parts of the moon obviously. When he got his suffix it became cloud for his always soft personality. Some also say that he got his suffix because of his love for fluffy things, like clouds, but Mooncloud denies it as much as he can.

Reason for Name: when harepounce was born, a hare had entered the cave where he and his siblings were born. the hare had hopped onto his mother and started sniffing harepounce, the hare didn't show any signs of feeling threatened and seemed to really like harepounce which led his mother to call him 'hare'. the pounce part of his name comes from the way the hare had hopped onto his mother.

Reason for Name:

The prefix Storm comes from Stormcrow's wicked temper and her willingness to lash out and start a fight with anyone.
And the suffix crow comes her extremely oppertunistic nature, as she's prepared to take advantage of anyone to get what she wants.
