Ares walked in silence to the pond, watching the water splash with fish. He hid behind a large tree
"Mabye it would be better if I climb the tree " he muttered angrily to himself
He jumped and dug his claws into the branch above his head, his back legs scratched and kicked the tree, the water stopped splashing with fish for a few seconds, when all was quite the fish started jumping from the pond once again. "Pewww" he whispered to himself and continued climbing the tree.
Ares had gotten to a large branch that hung way out over the pond, right above where the fish were.
the pond looked the best part of 2-3 rabbit runs down.
"Ok I'm going to jump" he encouraged himself and lept from the tree


I'm not sure weather to say if Ares got the fish
1 rabbit run is about a metre

"Kyia, Kyia. KYIA WAKE UP!!!" Lyra shouted excitedly
"Lyra keep it down!" Ares growled
"Lyra, what do you want" Kyia groaned sleepily
"Can you teach me how to hunt?!"
"Ok,ok I will"
Kyia and Lyra walked over to the small drip of water in the cave and took a drink
"Ok Lyca, when we get near the ancient oak you must tread lightly and stay down wind, so nothing can smell you"
"Ok, I've got this... Let's go!" Said lyra excitedly
"Ares, you coming?" Asked Kyia
"Yeah, lets go" he said
The wolves walked an hour or so way to get to the ancient oak
When they arrived Kyia showed Lyra all the tips and tricks to hunting, then Lyra had a go her self, Ares and Kyia when around the other side of the tree to hunt
After a while of her sniffing for a sent she found a faint one of a rabbits
Silently running down wind she waited and watched
The rabbit hopped out of the hole, and Lyra when for it...

Ares snuck along silently, he didn't know why he was being so silent and sneaky, something just didn't feel right. He felt like something was watching him, mabye there was, he didn't know. Ares heard the bird Screach, and then take to the sky, at this moment he knew something was wrong and he was going to find out what it was.

The Patrol!
Ares went out on patrol! Here is what he had to report.

-No enemies were found
-An old wolf scent
-A half eaten deer carcass

You can choose to take the carcass or leave it and you can return and attempt to follow the old scent trail.

Arrest looked at the deer carcass, it looked pretty well half eaten and old, he remembered the fish they still had some of that left. They can go without this carcass.
Ares sniffed around until he picked up the faint sent, it was a day or two old
He followed it with his head down until the sent got stronger, much much stronger
There was a wolf here, not a pup or an elder, but it was on his territory. Ares carefully followed the sent until he found where it was strongest. A large figure leapt out of the forest around him, it pined him down, dug in its claws and snapped at him, Ares kicked and scraped the large wolfs underbelly, the large wolf lost its balance for a moment, Ares sprang up and landed on the other wolfs back making it collapse, Ares dug in his claws and snarled. The large wolf was in an awkward position and could not move, it had suffered a large wound on its sholder and a huge scrape on its underbelly, Although Ares had worse, his mussle was cut and was bleeding heavily
His left back leg had a long and deep wound, and his ear had a small tear.
Ares pulled out his claws form the large wolfs back, the wolf took its time to stand up, both the wolves were tired from there fight and had not enough energy to carry on fighting.
"Who are you!" Ares snarled
"Who are you!, why are you on Nighthunters territory" He snarled again
"Well if you want to know so bad... LET ME SPEEK" yelled the other wolf
Ares dipped his head to show he would listen
"I am Stoneclaw, a cast out from Jaypack, I have traveled a long way to find shelter and food" he started to say but Ares interrupted
"And of course you choose to hunt on Nighthunters territory!"
"I was after food and shelter, Borders don't matter to me at the moment, I'm a rouge"
"Follow me, I'm taking you back to the cave, And if you even think of running off" Ares pulled back his lip to show his large teeth

Ares choose to follow the old wolf scent! Ares ran into a male rogue wolf who once was an alpha.

-You can choose to accept him into your ranks
-You can chase him out of your territory

"What are we going to do about stoneclaw?"
"He can stay I guess" Answered Kyia
"I mean he could be a lot of help, and a new member to the pack wouldn't hurt" she continued
"Yes I do see your point in that" Ares glanced around to where stone claw was laying
"But how do we know that he isn't her as a distraction or something more from his pack?" Ares questioned
"We can send him to the top of the mountain, he must climb to the top and sleep there for a night then he must climb back down, if he completes that he will be accepted in" Kyia made sure Stoneclaw was listening
"Hmm ok then..." Ares replied but wasn't really listening
