Butterbeans are a subspecies of pygmy bovine that bare an uncanny resemblance to a strange combination of lop eared rabbits and cows.
They are about the size of an average pygmy goat, growing anywhere from 40 cm to 60 cm - where bulls are often the bigger of the sexes (but this not always the case).
