Emori is a vagabond, traveling with his companion, Charles. The poor lad has a horrible sense of memory, and often forgets about where they've already traveled. His camera was a gift from Charles, as an ingenious method for him to keep their travels in his memories. He gave it to him with a tag, "Don't Forget," which Emori fashioned into a recollection item with slighty-more sentimental value than a simple string tied about his finger.

dont forget what?/whats the note for?: weeks, maybe months have passed since he strayed from his village. one day he was out taking photographs, until it was too dark and he could not find his way back. he's been walking and walking, trying to find home. he is not sure how long it has been, or how long it'll take to find his way back. he does not want to forget what his village or friends [my other ocs who live in the village] look like, so the note and pictures are to remind him of what to look for. he misses his home and friends dearly, but is confident he will find them again.

Everything , He literally has the memory of a cat. Yeah that sounds good and great seeing cats have a 16 hour memory but compared to someone who has the typical memory of a human its literal trash. This being said he has to record things constantly , such as if he paid his bills. Did he feed or even clean his fishes tank today? Did he remeber to go to the store yesterday or did he forget? Or even do his homework? The things he has clipped onto his string is the stuff he has to get when he's out of the house , or whatever he has to do for the evening. The true magic works within his house where he stores photo galleries of all individuals who play a significant part in his life with small descriptions to influence his memory , even his parents can be found in these books seeing as he may even sometimes forget there faces. Chick also store past images or notes that he's clipped to himself in these albums and binders. The pictures hanging from his string are to remind him of what the places he goes to look on a daily basis such as what his job looks like , a library, that thankfully has a computer to look up book names for him. His school seeing as he went there everyday you'd think he'd at least remember a huge college campus but nah he has to take a picture of that too , and every ounce in a while Chick will even have to clip his schedule onto his string for reassurance. The only Place Chick can remember no matter what is his house and were his parents live. Although he may forget his parents faces and names he always knows were to find them. On the negative side the string laced around his face may even get so heavy because of all the things he has to do that day to the points were the notes start to cover his other eye , but there's not much he can do about that , except put them in his satchel just for them to get lost with in it. Making Chick have to be extra careful when walking about as to not trip over anything. That being said I guess its safe to say the notes and pictures pretty much control his life , but on the bright side he always has a record of all his achievements and happy moments...even if he dosen't personally remember them~

He's got long-time memory issues making him forget things that happened more than few days ago, like his name, who his parents and friends are, and so forth. The note and photos show his family info as a constant memory card to keep him from going oblivious, and also instructions to take photos of everything he thinks is important so he can remember it later. Other than that weird health issue, he's the sweetest guy ever.
