ok i'm gonna explain the shadow! it's an ambiguous little creature formed from a cheerleader's pompom, it's got paws and a tail and ears and small fairy wings that let it float/hover for short periods of time. does it have a face underneath the pompom material? who knows.

Alivette loves pooktre because it is an art that requires a lot of special care and thought. She absolutely loves to watch her trees slowly grow into the masterpieces she envisions for them. She has made patio chairs, a column on the front side of her house, and a lovely table next to her creek for outdoor reading and relaxing while keeping an eye on her trees. Her biggest goal is to build a small chapel with a walkway, which she could then rent out for weddings in order to make some cash.

Alivette spends all of her daylight hours tending to her gardens, preparing a large area of space for her upcoming chapel project, trimming overgrown branches, and adjusting the growing conditions of trees still in the process of growing. Alivette truly pours her heart and soul into her garden. Her shadow, Xeni, acts much like a cat. Xeni runs around the garden when Alivette is outside. Xeni spends her days flying after birds, squirrels, and other pestering animals in order to keep them away from Alivette's beloved trees. Once she is satisfied that the garden has been protected, Xeni retires for a nap on Alivette's lap, purring lightly, and drifts happily into sleep; until she is awoken once more by birds chirping nearby.

Mordecai greatly enjoys making and solving puzzles. It's a great way to pass the time if he's bored, and he loves the feeling of satisfaction he gets when he's finished, staring at the solution to a 'problem'. It's mainly jigsaw puzzles he enjoys doing, but other types of puzzles, such as riddles, or something similar, he enjoys doing as well. Mordecai often solves these puzzles outside, claiming that he concentrates better that way, which is true. When successfully solving a puzzle, Mordecai can then sit and relax while bathing in the sunlight, and even makes flower crowns for himself and for Pix as celebration. It's also outside where Pix has more room to cheer Mordecai on to finish the puzzles. It's often because of Pix's encouragement, that Mordecai decided to create puzzles of his own. He hardly asks other dolls to try them out, but it's often Pix who is his guinea pig when testing these puzzles out. Both doll and shadow love this hobby, and it can go on for hours.
