Dust Bunnies are small, four-legged creatures, with unknown origins. They like to hide under your bed and in dark corners of your room (hence they're name), only coming out at night to steal candy from children. Despite their appearance, they're absolutely harmless.

This the last batch I have saved and I don't have much time to draw more so you might not see any more Dust Bunnies for awhile.

About Herman:
After discovering he had the ability to hold his breath for very long periods of time, Herman took himself to the ocean to scope out areas for merpeople. He was always fascinated by them; their tails, their charm, and especially their snacks and candy. Candied kelp and sea urchin chips were his favourite.

His search for an underwater world didn't take long. He soon found himself amongst the pearly, and shell, gates of Neptunia - the oceans oldest kingdom of merpeople. He couldn't wait to find a bed to jimmy himself under.

After a few days of lurking under things and searching for a suitable bed, Herman came across a small, blonde merboy that was trapped in a net. The boy was asleep, probably worn down from trying to free himself. Herman knew he had to help him.

In a matter of minutes, Herman was able to release the boy from the net with his tail hand. The boys eyes fluttered open as he met his hero.

At first, seeing Herman frightened the blonde, half-fish. He inhaled sharply and backed slowly away, never taking his eyes off of Herman as he examined him from his two eyes to his hand tail.

The boy must've lost his fear and gained some trust because next he spoke, "Thank you, land beast.', the boy said with a subtle smile, "How can I ever repay you?", on perfect cue, after that being said, Herman's stomach rumbled loudly - he hadnt had anything to eat since he left the mainland. The boy took the hint and laughed and before Herman could even resist, the boy scooped up the little dust bunny into his arms. "Well," the boy said in a calm, friendly voice, "I guess we can start with some food and shelter."

The boy swam for what seemed like forever until he came to the castle; the place were the royal merpeople lived.

Herman's eyes lit up as they scanned the huge building made from coral, shells, and seaweed. He couldn't believe the boy was taking him here. He could almost ignore the fact that he hadn't taken a nap or eaten in a while, both which were things he was very fond of and didn't often go without.

To Herman's surprise, he quickly learned that he had saved the youngest prince of a small bloodline of mer-royalty. He felt a jolt of pride as the prince carried him into what seemed to be his bedroom.

Underneath the princes clam shell bed was the perfect size for Herman to squeeze under and nap and nibble on treats. The prince fed him many of his favourites like candied kelp, urchin chips, and seaweed flavored salt water taffy; the list went on and on.

The prince and Herman became good friends as time went on, though the prince never told anyone about him. He gave Herman a sleeping bag that was shaped like a fishtail so during his naps, he could feel like a merperson too.

Herman and the little prince went on many adventures together and stayed the best of friends for a very. very long time. Herman actually ended up getting an amulet from the prince to help him breath under water so he didn't have to go to the surface anymore if he didn't wish to.

This calm and serious Dust Bunny is named Howard Xeras. Howard is very silent and doesn't laugh much due to him not knowing how to interpret humor. He has a very dull personality, and would be someone you would call a "party-pooper". Xeras is also very literal; he doesn't understand sarcasm and will take your words as truth. But despite all of this, deep down inside Howard wants to do what he wants; he wants to understand humor, he wants to laugh, he wants to make friends. Every day he tells himself that he will be more of a "fun" Bunny, but the way he grew up stops him every time. Howard can also be very depressing as he sometimes gets into very realistic conversations about death and how no one can escape it. This is a big reason why Howard doesn't talk much.
