I remember my Aussie friend telling me you had to watch out for their holes. I also remember him saying there were kookaburras in the backyard and they wouldn't shut up. I've done kookaburra diets for work but they were never noisy. :[

hahaha kookaburras are very noisy but pleasant compared to a flock of screeching cockatoos! they sound horrible when they get together!
