Dalisay (Dali, Daisies)

Dalisays are medium sized creatures with the head of a fox,
the height and body structure of a deer, with gryphon talons
and haunches of a horse - as well as it's tail. While Daisies
have wings, they cannot fly with them; they use their wings
as a way to win a mate, adorning them with color made from
mashed berries and pretty objects. They spend most of their
time in small herds, living near dens of dragons in order to
steal some of their gems; they use their collected items as a
way to impress future mates.

Daisies usually live in tropical climates where there's a fresh
source of water as well as beautiful foliage - much like an
oasis in a forest, or near a waterfall in the jungle. Dali's are
omnivores, though they do not eat other animals. They spend
their time eating fruits, vegetables, roots, bark, and small
insects. The fruit they do not eat goes towards their herd,
decorating their wings and sometimes even their bodies in
beautiful, tribal designs.

Once a Dali finds a mate, they exchange three feathers to
each other and wear them in their manes - similar to human's
using wedding rings. Dali's are usually mated for life, and
have anywhere between 4-6 calves in their lifetimes before
they no longer breed. These babies are born without manes
or any sort of decoration; though they are known to sometimes
get themselves into color berries.

Keep in mind, all rules are subject to change as Dalisays grow as a community. ♥

🌺 There is no limit on the amount of Dalisays you may own.
🌺 Bribing the artist in any way to better your chance of a successful adoption is not allowed.
🌺 You can dress up your Dali once they are adopted, but do not edit the linework in any way.
-----You are also allowed to subtly change the decorative colors on their wings.
🌺 Dalisays only choose one mate in their life.
🌺 Dalisays are able to breed 4 times their lifespan.
-----There is only ever a chance for twins or triplets in their first breeding.

You may also use a Dalisay as a fursona, just be sure to ask the artist of the design as well as Kittalie for permission!

🌺 Dalisays may not be sold or bought for any online or offline currencies, pets, or items.
-----They may be traded for other closed species, only if both owners of said species agree to the trade.
🌺 Dalisays can be gifted to other users, as well as traded for another Dalisay.

Before a trade or gift can occur, please message Kittalie for approval.

🌺 All staff may create one custom for themselves, this includes artists, moderators, the archivist, and any guest artist.
-----Staff may require more custom slots as long as they're active.
🌺 Customs and MYO's cannot be bought off other users.
🌺 You may use your MYO as a gift for another user, with permission.
🌺 Do not use your fursona's or characters design on any customs.
🌺 MYO's are only obtainable through events, activity, feedback, and helpfulness to the community.

Looking to become a moderator, archivist, or something else that could help out Dalisays?
Just message Kittalie with the title "(Staff position wanted) App/Application for Dalisay!". There is no form for applying, just be sure to give as much information and examples as you feel necessary. Make sure to double check everything and provide why you'd be a good choice, and how long you spend on CS if you're applying as a moderator.

Why is there no form for applying for Staff?
This is to make sure that you're able to show us exactly what you're made of, and how organized you are and willing to become staff. If I were to lay out questions, you could answer them easily and not have to think "why should I really be chosen? What am I good at and how can I help?"
This also keeps the thread from having multiple forms for staff applications.

A strike will be given if a user must be warned more than once on their misbehavior. Anyone may gather up 3 strikes before they're banned from adopting any Dalisay. If a user who is banned PMs after a month to have the ban lifted, it will be considered. Another strike after this will permanently ban the user from adopting.
You will lose all your Dalisay if you are banned.
