The Owatin Domestic Shorthair are a revolutionary new breed of cat that are as about
as small as their kitten-esque relatives, the Munchkin cat, but retain not only full legs,
but adult-like qualities. While admittedly a Owatin Shorthair probably couldn't fit in
your pocket past kittenhood, it could totally fit in your purse!

The Owatin Shorthair is a tiny, tiny cat who's adults should only be as tall as your
common house chihuahua and weigh between 3-8 pounds. Owatin Shorthair's should
stand no higher than 10 inches at the shoulder. Their bodies should be stout, with
rounded heads and large, kitten-like eyes and they should have floofy cheeks, rumps
and tails. The breed standard accepts coats only of the shorthair variety and fur
length should be no longer than two inches on the body and four inches on tails, chests,
cheeks and rumps.

The Owatin Shorthair is a diverse breed who's standard accepts most, if not all, colours
and patterns and full, half, bobbed and none tail lengths are accepted.

full tail, basic accessories (collars, bracelets, earrings, etc)

uncommon :
advanced accessories (clothing, detailed items, etc), hair tufts, half tail,
bobbed tail, custom ears, mouth edits, custom tail

no tail, missing limbs, extra limbs, various other mutations

▸ you may own as many owatin's as you'd please.
▸ non-staff are not permitted to make an owatin shorthair.
▸ the maximum amount of customs any person may own is ten.
▸ owatin shorthair's are realistic cat adopts and therefor all owatin's follow realistic cat genetics.
▸ selling owatin shorthair's for any form of currency (pets, c$, art, etc) is strictly prohibited.
▸ you may trade, give away and gift your owatin shorthair's whenever you would like.
▸ if you have given your owatin to another player, please message me so the archives can be updated.
▸ you may not edit your owatin's design, colour or physical features but you may add accessories and
scarring at your discretion.





▸ you must make at least one owatin a week.
▸ you may only make a custom for yourself every 31 days.
▸ artists are expected to make ten regular adopts between every custom they make.
▸ judge competitions fairly, do not pick favorites but pick the entry that is genuinely the best.
▸ if you'd like to fill orders in the nursery, you must have a good understanding of cat genetics.
▸ if you go inactive for more than a month without giving prior notice, you will be kicked from your position.





Whenever you break a rule, you will receive a strike. One strike expires in two months as long as you
do not break any more rules during this time. If you get three strikes, you'll be banned from adopting
from Pocket Cats and all of your Owatin Shorthair's will be reclaimed by PC and put back up for adoption.

For a price, you may have a Owatin Shorthair made to your exact specifications. Your custom may have any combination of colours, genes and edits you'd like. This combination of colours, genes and edits (CGE) will decide the price of your custom - customs that have CGE's that are all classed under the common rarity cost 20 credits, customs that have one or more CGE's classed under the uncommon rarity cost 30 credits, customs that have one or more CGE's classed under the rare rarity cost 50 credits and customs that have one or more CGE's classed under the special rarity cost 100 credits. All customs are classed under the "special" rarity, regardless of how common or rare of a CGE combination they may have.

If this confuses you, worry not! Your custom's price will be quoted to you whenever you place your order, and you are free to send in whatever questions you might have.
