Alrighty so this has been in the work for months, since way back in November and actually a little longer.
The staff collectively has aided in suggestions, adjustments and trying to put all of this together into one smooth and solid concept that we are now bringing into fruition as of February 1st, 2017. With the 2nd anniversary of the viscets on the horizon, we are deciding to make some changes to the ownership limits which will effect all adoptions, batches, and pretty well everything that concerns ownership of this species. This change we feel is for the better for everyone. We have comprised an FAQ already of questions we felt might be asked and that can be found here. The main adopts front page, nursery rules, and myo information has all been updated and it is important for everyone to read over all of those updates and changes to have a better understanding. By continuing to adopt, breed, purchase myos, or take part in any viscet related event, you are agreeing to these terms, so please be sure to read them all over thoroughly.

So what is this change exactly -- the removal of the max limit of viscets a singular user can have. We are imposing different limits, but in essence you can adopt, breed and have as many viscets as you'd like. However, you can only win 1 regular adopt per month, and keep 1 batch per month. There are exceptions to these limits and separate limits for re-adoptions, dA adopts, myos and event adopts. All limits and regulation updates can be found here, this is extremely important to read and understand. Breaking the adoption & ownership rules is a serious offense that the staff deal with very seriously. So please keep that in mind.

Some regular rules have been reworded, or new ones added that have needed to be for a while. Including one very important one - ✦Also, if you breed your viscet with another user's viscet, understand that if you do not keep the batch, that you cannot control, dictate or determine what that individual does with that viscet. You cannot require or restrict any viscet you do not explicitly own or co-own in anyway. We've had far too many issues with this before, and this is something that Staff wasn't even allowed to do, so keep in mind that none of the community was really allowed to do this either. It was an understood rule, and frowned upon if done but now it is a rule. So please do not do this whatsoever. If you do not wish for another individual to have a viscet with your viscet's colors, traits, etc, do not breed it. Simple as that.

MYO changes have added 2 new purchaseable myo tickets, a Tier 0 or T0 which is a traitless MYO for those who have shown interested in that. And it is a little cheaper than the T1 myo. We've moved the Go Crazy Tier (3) to now a Tier 4, and have added in a new Tier 3 or T3. The new tier 3 allows for 5 traits in total but only up to 2 can be rare. More combinations and it is purchaseable on dA! MYO information is on the front of the FC. c:

So mostly, all the changes are outlined in the "Rules" section on the main adopts thread. And all of these go into effect as of February 1st, 2017. If you have any questions please refer to the FAQ, if the answer isn't there comment it on that thread and the staff will answer it best we can. c:

[GA Rules & Info]

✦Staff rules apply to Guest Artists, except....

✦Your ownership maximum is still that of an ordinary user.
✦You cannot sell Guest Artist-made designs off-site or for currency, only form judging.
✦You may not make your own customs, or customs for others.
✦You must follow the typical Artist's form when adopting; # in the title, optional comment at the top, then the form in code, rules about the form, and then a PNG of the design with code. If you ask for art in the form, you must include the Viscet's hex codes as well. When it is adopted, put the Owner: <link>, Name, and Gender of the Viscet at the top of the post, and below that copy/paste the winner's form.
✦It's alright if your adoptions' end date lasts longer than your Guest Artist term. Just carry them through.

✦You may make up to 5 designs.
✦Of those 5 designs, 1 may have an uncommon trait.
✦Your term is over at the end of the month.
✦You may not be GA 2 months in a row.
✦You may not make runner-ups.
✦Ignoring GA rules can result in a strike just like any other rule.
✦Obviously, you must have access to the Oekaki/chibipaint platform.
