what colour thread would you sew into your own plushie tolter, and why? I'd choose red because it's a symbol for a strong passion, whether good or bad. Also, it reminds me of build-a-bear where you put a tiny red heart inside it, so it'd be cute to match that theme. As the red stitches are the veins for the heart that gives the plushie life.
