I used to haunt around glitter graphics websites for the customizable descriptions on sites like Meez, and I saw that people had linked/had pictures of their CS pets, so I thought, "Why not join in on board culture?" (well, at the time, it was probably more like "They have cute animals and roleplaying? If I don't join I might die~"). That was in 2009.
