I'm considering starting up a game of forum mafia, but wanted to see if people would be interested in us coming together as a mafia community, to share our games with each other and to bond over the great game of "lying about fictional stabbing".
To explain a bit, I play mafia primarily on FlightRising, and we have this group called the Interflight Mafia Hub. Basically it's just a bunch of mafia players in a community, and we share our games with each other, talk about mafia or whatever else, and have a great time.
If you're not sure what I'm talking about, mafia is a game in which an informed minority (the mafia) faces off against the uninformed majority (the town). The mafia's goal is to equal or outnumber the town by killing during "night" phases and getting innocent townsfolk miseliminated during "day". Meanwhile, the town's goal is to eliminate all members of the mafia.
If you've ever played Among Us, Goose Goose Duck, Werewolf, or Town of Salem, it's pretty much that in a forum form. It's also very similar to Murderers in Thunderclan, however there's no roleplay aspect
