What are some reasons you feel happy to be alive?

Life can definitely be tough sometimes! I think the general consensus with the people I've talked to is that the last year has been one of those hard times!
I have a feeling this year will turn around, so what re some reasons everyone feels grateful for going into this new year?
I'll start since I'm asking:
Im really grateful for my parents, they've supported me endlessly in the most difficult moments of my life <3

my friends/partner, my beautiful cat melody, being able to create art and stories ^_^ I dont know what id do without these things

my boyfriend is the number 1. im also so happy with and grateful for my parents, my job, music i like, and animal crossing new horizons:)

My hobbies i guess! Getting to experience many different forms of media i enjoy brings joy to my typical day to day. Having friends who i like and like me! My cat 🐈

oh, this is definitely a sweet thread, i hope it can get more attention (⁠ᵔ⁠ᴥ⁠ᵔ⁠)
some days you just need to take a step back and think about this sort of thing,
it does make me feel a lot better whenever i do and realize all im grateful for.

of course, one thing would be my friends. they make me so very happy and
i want to continue to make them happy as well. i want to make many people
happy, really. if i can cheer up someone and make their day a little better, it
brightens up my day lots.

being able to draw and create and such makes me very happy, too im grateful
that i can create things that i find lovely, and that i can look at other peoples creations
as well. so much art i have saved for inspiration and of characters i like, it's wonderful

one more thing would be pokemon, aha.. it's been such a big part of my life
for so long, i am always excited for new releases and such, as well as starting
many playthroughs and adoring so many of my little pokemon friends. the games
truly do give me such a strong sense of comfort, especially the ones with the
ability to pet and feed your pokemon and such. ^^

Probably my deities. Its amazing to know that there is someone/something out there that is so out of the grasp o my mind that cares about something small like me. :')
Also i just got my tax refund so YEAHHHH!!!
