My Ghost, I was so surprised you came to my city after almost 2 years of no contact. It meant more to me than you know. My dearest friend, I still love you. I know I'll never be good enough for your mother, and I know you're leaving for the army soon, but seeing you made my heart skip a beat, and now you're all that's on my mind. In a way I wish you'd kept your distance, maybe then I could focus on my new life. So much has changed but I suppose my feelings never will. i could be at home, comfortable, not alone (though i do not really enjoy my sister's company)
but silly ol' me gave into your begging me to sleep over for two days when i could be doing

that if i came here, i'd feel protected and liked and not alone but. you're literally. sleeping in

the events, down the the very date. it's funny how i can
remember the exact day of everything but i can't
remember a math formula. i came back to you on what
would have been our one year anniversary. i wish i was
not so impulsive when it came to you. my heart always
races- i cannot tell if it is because i still love you or
if i am so nervous to talk to you. when you called me
tonight, you had to hang up because what i said was
"too much." i somehow triggered you. i dont even know
how to feel. do i even feel when you are around? other

Paranoia is a strong feeling, huh? Especially when you know it's unwarranted. Somehow it always makes it worse, when you know you shouldn't worry about it, but do anyways. A messed you up, to this day you're still constantly watching for a repeat of what happened with her. This isn't the same though, and yet you still keep thinking about the possibility. And even worse, you hope this message is read, because you're too scared to say anything. It's pathetic, really.
