If any of you are like me and have trouble getting to sleep, then this is for you!
Here is what I do to help me fall asleep, maybe it'll help y'all.
Eat Cherries. It sounds strange, but cherries actually have natural melatonin in them!
Read. Screen usage before bed can make your brain more active, so read a book! Also, reading helps get and keep those pesky songs that get stuck in your head away.
Listen to ASMR. Many people think ASMR is dumb, but it's actually very relaxing, even if ASMR doesn't have the effect it's meant to on you! Grab some earbuds and put em in! (I recommend the YouTube account SensorAdi ASMR)
Have some tea. Decaffinated, of course! I find drinking tea or anything warm before bed makes me sleepy.
Have an ice pack on standby. It's summer, which means it's H O T! I find having a gel ice pack on my forehead cools me down, but also makes me sleepy.
Put your face in cold water. There's a bunch of sciency stuff behind this one, but basically putting your face in cold water helps relax and calm you.
