Yeah stress is really messing with my sleep too. And its also making me feel sick. Get so stressed out I just feel awful. Currently 5:22am for me. xc

On a good night, I would say about one to two hours of mostly undisturbed sleep. On a bad night, none at all. Average nights are maybe thirty minuets to an hour of restless sleep.

Have you ever had any hallucinations from lack of sleep?
Yes, I get them quite frequently, especially if I'm at my desk working on things. I start seeing things out of the corner of my eye, little movements and shadows, and it just progresses from there.

How long have you suffered from insomnia?
Not quite my whole life, but very close too it. It's gotten much worse from when I was a child as the degenerative lung disease I was born with worsened quite a bit in the past year becuse of lack of treatment in its early stages.

On a good night, I would say about two to three hours of mostly undisturbed sleep. On a horrible night, none at all. Bad nights are maybe thirty minuets to an hour of restless sleep.

I get concussions and pass out really easily.

How long have you suffered from insomnia?
It only started about at the beginning of this summer, and it's getting worse and worse. I also have anxiety.

Insomnia for me varies greatly / comes & goes.
There are some nights that I've slept for 10+ hours,
and other times where I've had no sleep at all for days on end.

Have you ever had any hallucinations from lack of sleep?
Yes. The longest I have ever gone without sleep was six consecutive days.
I was brought into a walk-in clinic after concerned friends & teachers in school apparently claim I had been mumbling non-sense & staring into thin air. Mostly unresponsive to others around me. Though I do not recall this at all, I do remember seeing some pretty odd things starting on day four.
(More than the typical multi-coloured dots & strange shadows)
At first it was fairly easy to tell what was real & what wasn't, but that begins to blur as time goes on
and it becomes impossible to ignore.
This particular time I had been prescribed Valium for one week.
(I don't remember much about that week)...
Thankfully, that was years ago & I haven't had insomnia this severe since.

Several years.
I have been diagnosed with chronic insomnia (along with depression & social anxiety)
starting around the age of nine.

I haven't been able to sleep hardly at all lately. After going nearly twenty-four hours I finally was tired enough to fall asleep earlier. But not for long, already awake and still exhausted.

How many hours of sleep do you usually get on an average night?
Only a few, about 3-4 on average, but it depends on whether or not my insomnia is "acting up"; so it can often range from 1 week of 'normal' sleep to 2 weeks without proper sleep. So it basically comes and goes, and the intensity of it can change quite often.

Have you ever had any hallucinations from lack of sleep?
Not that I'm aware of "^-^; as I'm often alone due to... certain reasons that I'd rather not discuss in public, and because my mother is always at her job, plus I tend to day dream 'in the real world', it sounds weird, I know haha.

Ever since I was younger, since it was caused by severe medical problems (mainly since I was a premature/miracle baby
"^-^), and possibly due to family/abandonment issues "^-^.

I feel extremely sorry for anybody who also suffers from Insomnia, let alone any sleeping disorders, or even disorders in general D:
