How did you come up with your username?

“Sonder” is one of my favorite words. It’s a philosophical term that is defined as “the realization that everyone around you has a life as vivid and complex as your own.” It’s a feeling I’ve been aware of since I was a child and only recently discovered the name for it.

I added the title “Lady” to make the username more sophisticated, and more individualized. With it, I feel like I’m taking the concept of “Sonder” as something to be honored by instead of something that makes me feel that much more distant from other people.

not sure how it popped in my head, but it did. ive been known as the_cloudykitten everywhere for years lol

Postal 2 is a 2003 first-person shooter video game developed by Running with Scissors and published by Whiptail Interactive. It is the sequel to the 1997 game Postal and was released for Microsoft Windows in April 2003, macOS in April 2004 and Linux in April 2005. I was obsessed with warrior cats for the longest time, and one of the first characters I ever made was named Violetglare. I felt really connected to her so I started calling myself Violet, but my usernames are always Violetglare (:
