i also thought if you flapped your arms really fast in mid air you would fly.

oh and theres also the fact that i thought american was a language and thats what i spoke and that only people in england spoke english.

I always wished I would be kidnapped by pirates in my sleep and live with them so they would teach me how to be a pirate. I really wanted to be a pirate.

I actually thought that when I hit third grade and my arm and leg hair was getting darker. Then I came to the conclusion a lady at church was half werewolf because she never shaved under her arms but always wore sleeveless dresses, and she was displaying her "half-werewolfism" with pride. I admired that and never mentioned it. XD

Here's a fun one I remembered after reading an article about how your brain automatically shuts down visual information for split seconds when your eyes move. Not sure how true it is, but it makes sense. And reminded me of how, for almost half my life, I thought either I or mirrors were cursed. Before we had you young whippersnappers' handheld smart phones and high speed internet and computers -- *waves cane* (okay I'm exaggerating, my house was late to the device and internet life) -- I entertained myself at times by STARING at the mirrors in bathrooms, trying to catch sight of my eyes moving, or make direct eye contact with the whites of my eyes. I could see mom's eyes move but never my own! I was always looking at my pupils! It made me mad because I KNEW my eyes moved, but I could never SEE my eyes move. So I was certain mirrors, or myself, were cursed to keep me from seeing my own eyes move or to look at the whites of my eyes.
Looking back now, I can't believe how absolutely ridiculous that is. XD

1. I used to think something lived under my covers every bedtime as a child.. I would jump on the bed and flatten the sheet to make sure, I did this several times till my mom would yell at me to stop making noise XD

2. I used to get these cute little animal erasers and I thought they had feelings and when someone used a eraser, I would be like "Why are you scraping his head off?" I didn't have any friends in my younger ages o.o

- Babies came out of the belly button. I had no idea why it was there so I assumed that babies were born out of it.
- The food you ate was indefinitely stacked inside your body.
- The kiss on your wedding day made you pregnant.
- Holding a plastic bag will make you float in the air. I remember trying to jump off my sisters bed with a paper bag in the air multiple times to see if I actually glided.
- I used to get "party" and "potty" mixed up so I thought parties were held the bathroom.
- Related to the last one, I though the kitchen was called the "chicken".

That if you breathe in whilst looking directly at someone, even a picture of them, that you'd start to become like them and look like them in the future. I used to be really careful with my breathing!
