Alright guys, so I was talking about re-designing my fursona and I did! And I love it way more now ^_^ Here it is, now I am wondering how many yards I should get of each fur color? It's going to be a 3/4 suit so head, arms, handpaws, legs, and feetpaws. (Please note that the markings on the back of the head are still a work on progress xD, same with the lines and drawing in general)

Finding good quality fur in the color you want and at a decent price is really hard to do in person. Especially unnatural colors since its such a niche thing. I highly recommend ordering online from sites like fabric.com, fabricdepot.com, and fursuitsupplies.com to name a few. A lot of sites also offer free shipping when you spend over a certain amount, and with fur at $22-$28 a yard it's pretty easy to hit.

Living in Florida myself, and I personally go to my local Joann’s fabric store and can find most any color of fur there- although perhaps not all of the same type of fur.

Oh cool, I know that some fursuit heads ave that hole. But I like it more when it’s hidden. My friend and I have failed a few times and made the hole totally visible so you can see the wearers mouth, it was pretty weird.

Yeah, it can be, but it's also pretty important to get water when you need to xD

A good way to make a mouth that have a hole is to tape felt in front of your mouth, and then cut a very small hole in the felt that isn't visible. You won't be able to drink from water bottles, but if you drink with a straw it'll work.

I believe its what most people use
I used it as my paw pads but didn't like the weird seams it made for claws when I tried
I used fleece for my nose and will probably use something like it for claws

Lots of people use quick drying clay or plaster for claws?
