I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure you’ve only got one option here. If he doesn’t know who you are, introduce yourself. Get to know him for who he really is and see if you still like him, make sure it’s not just an infatuation, if that makes any sense. I feel it’s best to get to know someone before you can figure out if you really do like them romantically.

If she brings it up, just let her down gently so you can stay friends. If she doesn't say anything about it, I wouldn't either. Just don't worry about it because she may not even like you; be her friend like normal, but try to avoid doing anything that might give her the wrong idea.

I'd tell him, the worst thing that can happen is he doesn't feel the same way, so just make sure it's clear he knows you're okay with staying just friends just in case. But he might feel the same way so you should definitely go for it.
I was in a very similar situation a while back, decided to tell him + it turned out I wasn't imagining things. Worth.

Does anything need to be done? I personally don't think so. If you are right and your friend admits her feelings, then you simply be honest like you were here. "You're my best friend, and I really care for you, but I don't have any romantic feelings like you do. I'm so sorry; I hope we can stay friends."

okay..so i've had a huge crush on this boy since about
december. he's kind and he's really the kind of person i'd wanna be with
and i think that even he might like me too?
the only thing is, he has a girlfriend and they're close.
both him and his girlfriend know i like him (well, pretty much everyone does)
his girlfriend is super cool with it, we even joke about it sometimes but
i still can't help but feel really jealous around them.. i don't show it but it's
killing me ;;
