When I was really little, I used to think that all dogs were male and all cats were female.

When I was little, my grandma always told me not to swallow gum.
She never told me exactly why though, and I didn't know what organs were, so I thought we had lots of gears inside our bodies which controlled how we moved, kept us alive, etc.
After a while, I realized why it was "dangerous" to swallow gum. Because it would've gotten stuck in your gears, making them stop, which would result in you dying.
I didn't touch another gum for years.
