There are some similarities. Owen and Oliver are both more yellow orange colours with Oliver being the darker more redish of the two. I don't get much for Trent either but it seems to go well Oliver.
Clay is kinda steele grey with blue hints while I often use a strong darkish almost primary Blue for both Marysand Cody. For Fender I often use a darker more pen ink blue that boarders on black but the personality was a strong match. Eugine is his first name and odly the colour choice matches his fur/hair colour rather closely while I would describe it as more grey that soft blue tone is there just tend not to mention it in descriptions. and Mary is a motherly sort. Jule is a faded navy blue with white and red and reminds me of wind.
Harland made me think of autumn colours and trees in autumn particularly.
Lee is usually red or a dark harsh or hot pink for me. idk why. I also associate her with asian dragons though it has nothing to do with her chatacter.
Em, Emma and Emrald are all varrying shades of green some more yellowish. She is smart but not wise tending to not learn from her mistakes.
I don't get much from stone either but if I had to choose one image that comes to mind it would be a fist sized white granite beach rock. This has no relation to the chatacter however it being a friends shiny unboreon.
Aric is a teacher and I for some reason associate him strongly with books and the red and brown spectrum of colours. Leather binding and that old book smell.
Arig is a half ogre (think d&d not Shrek) and I associate him with a greenish yellow colour and the smells of wood smoke and rotting leaves. He is kinda simple but not outright stupid and kind but well tall and strong.
Lily reminds me of lavender in both scent and colour but also of cold pond water and frog sounds (spring peepers specificly and maybe distant crickets)
Maria was supposed to be a new take on one of my two Mary characters for her I get sticky floors, the smell of sweets, sugar, and flour. Baby powder and see static (the kind I see when I hear a fan running, one that isn't properly balanced ) this clash is probably why I have been delaying devoloping her fully.
I don't have any assiciations really for Olivia accept the taste of fluoride treatments?
This was fun for me too I had never really thought to delve into my characters names and what I assiciate with them Lily and Stone were the only two I listed that aren't mine. Stone was partnered with Jule in a rp some time ago and there have been three different Lily characters I have partnered with. If anyone else wants to share please do.
*Where my primary thing is seeing sound my associations are not all related to my syn. Hearing the names spoken in different tones or by different people would affect what I saw that way. I also do that visual timeline thing and tend to think in pictures rather than words. So its funny to me that I have so many sound and taste associations as well as colour and objects. I know some must be phycology but maybe I have a few other minor syn I have not taken real notice of before? Noticably seeing sounds is enough and not something I generally advertise. lol does anyone else love when the power goes out? Its like the only time I can feel my brain relax and feel like I can actually see clearly.
