They're growing so fast! ;w;

EARS! Must I say more?

So cute I can't even handle it!

Also, I just got kicked out of a rabbit group on FaceBook because I mentioned
that my boys were half New Zealand {A meat rabbit breed} and when questioned,
I did share that my brother raises meat rabbits. The group never stated in its rules
that I couldn't say anything about meat rabbits, so I figured I was safe. Guess not.
It's not like I'm raising my boys for meat?

70% of the world think warrior cats is stupid. 25% say who cares. Repost if you are part of that 5% that would take a hard cover warrior cat book and slap the other people saying, "STARCLAN IS OUT FOR REVENGE!!"

READ ME FIRST PLEASE
Please do not post if you want to argue about breeding rabbits or anything else negative towards people that do. If anyone comes in here trying to do that, I will report you. This thread isn't here for people to bash each other! I just want to have good conversations with people who enjoy the hobby of breeding and showing rabbits, or love them as pets! I hope that's not to much to ask. XD Pet owners are welcome to post pictures of their rabbits and ask questions! After all, these are our pets as well. I know I would personally be more than willing to answer rabbit related questions for you! Ask anything! :D

Anyway, a little about myself... I was in 4-H for about 9 years! I am a member of ARBA and other national and regional rabbit clubs too. I own a rabbitry and I breed Jersey Woolies, Mini Lops and New Zealands! I have some Polish and mixed breeds as pets too. (: I've had other breeds before and also pets in different breeds including thriantas, mini rex, flemish giants, netherland dwarfs, a tan, an english angora and a teddy lionhead. I don't have very many litters a year (maybe about 5 or less) and I go to rabbit shows all over my state. I usually have about 30 rabbits at a time. Every bunny gets a name and lots of lovin'. My mind is always constantly thinking rabbits, rabbits, rabbits! I need to get out more. :oops: But I do really enjoy this hobby and hopefully some people will like this thread and join in. lol

Hi. I have a question..
I found my bun, Bunnicula, dead in his cage about five minutes ago, and I don't know what to do. I really loved him, and I don't know why he died. He did eat part of a rubber band, about an inch long, the day before yesterday, but nothing else unusual has happened.
i'm inactive on here. msg me on lioden if u really need 2 talk or whatever

Aww… I'm sorry... If you have a yard, I would suggest burying him in a nice spot. Because, Yknow... Who wants to toss their much-loved pet in a garbage bag? It was probably the rubber band. Also, I had a rabbit named Bunnicula also. Great name. I'll be praying for you. <3

He possibly chocked or had a colic (his tubeing got plugged up) there are a few other possibilities but I don't think they should be shared on here. It's important for a rabbits system to be in constant movement like a horse. Rabbits have no gag reflexes so a blockage can be very serious, thats why hay is so important. So fur blocks are also a concern but you can give your rabbit pineapple or papaya to help break it down.

I am so so sorry for your loss! It is never plesent to lose a family member :(

The rubberband probably caused a blockage.
