What is the weirdest name you ever came up with for your pet

I would probably have to say bluestar was the weirdest name I came up with but I can't really say much cuz I got it from the cat Warrior books the other weirdest name I ever came up with I would have to say Sapphire and Darth Vader Dorothy for short and those were cats that I had

I love weird names for pets and I have had quite a few including a dog named Retro because she looked like a dog previously owned by my mom. For cats we had a kitten named Nova so when we took in another cat Caine was the first thing that popped up and he was delivered to us in a downpour of torrential rain and as soon he got inside we had a power outage so his full name was Caine Deluge Blackout.

Growing up, my best friend would name her animals after other animals. So she had a dog named Cow, and a cat named Dog. They had so many animals and it always confused me so I'd just refer to them by colour LOL.

My baby boy was named Percival Jones, but had another full name: Perceus Jackson. His call name was Percy. (: Our current dogs are Barnaby (Barn) and Bailey. No fancy names for them, unfortunately. I call Bailey 'good girl' more than I do her name tbh. She probably thinks that's her name.

I named my dog Nya Ninja from ninjago because when I was little, I had a massive crush on her.

When I was like four, I had an aquarium and in it there was an African dwarf clawed frog that I named “e”. Lowercase singular letter e. As well as a handful of neon tetras all named Tetra.

We haven't actually given this name to a pet (yet), but...
I was about 3-4 years old and my family was discussing getting a new puppy. My brother (5-6 at the time) wanted to name it Donut. I, for some inexplicable reason, loved the sound of the word Christ. Had no idea what it meant. Just thought it sounded nice.

Anyway, we're arguing over whether to name it Donut or Christ (keep in mind this is still a theoretical puppy), when I had the genius idea of "Donut Christ".

(Once said puppy had been adopted, my dad named him Dewey.)

My first dwarf hamster (winter white, but he was grey colored) was named with a word (in my language) translating to 'mob-cap', the type of hat Like why, do hamsters look like bonnet hats?

Also one of my rats was named Squirrel (squirrel the animal, translated in my language too, but she was neither grey or red, she was the beige 'siamese' type). My first rat was named with the play of a word for candy wrapper. There was a cartoon about an elephant, who was named with a word close to candy wrapper - so that seemed funny to name a rat (with ~Dumbo~ ears, like the Disney elephant) after another cartoon elephant
