I have recently taken on the care of a neglected pond and its two goldfish, there is no mains access from outside and I was curious to see your experiences with solar powered pumps (with battery), and if you have any recommendations on a particular one to get.
Are / have any of you been in a similar limited situation? How did you deal with it?
How do you minimise the drawbacks of a weaker pump? Alternatives?

Unfortunately I don't own the fish or the house they live at so solar is the best I can do pump wise for them
