i just wrote this for an overdue school thing, it's about a taiga animal: the mink !

minks are small, slender, long-bodied, carnivorous, semi-aquatic mammals that live near bodies of water or rivers or streams with nearby tree cover. minks are secondary consumers, eating both aquatic and land animals including fish, crayfish, lizards, rabbits, muskrats, and other small rodents. they are preyed on by foxes, wolves, horned owls, and other tertiary consumers. they have oily outer hairs on their body that waterproofs them, and their webbed feet allow them to easily swim around. without minks, most of the small rodent population would get out of control.

so i would say minks are my favorite animal, apart from dogs ^_^

rats, stingrays, giraffes, short haired black cats, crows, and greyhounds <3

I own two rats and they're my favorite things in the whole wide world
Stingrays are just cool, man. We have a rescue aquarium for animals that can't return to the wild where I am and every time we go I spend the whole time with the stingrays.
I hate, hate, hate long haired cats. I dunno why, I just don't like them at all. but shorthaired are the bomb.
I feel like I don't need to say much about crows because they're awesome
I work with a greyhound rescue, have two of my own, and have fostered 4 (but that number will increase, we just started fostering last year). they're great and get a lot of attention from everybody lmao

oh man,, i mean- def not an original answer- but i'd have to say dogs! i especially love fluffy dogs, and i tend to lean towards giant breeds (i personally can't stand dogs under like, 30-40 lbs). i myself have a great pyrenees mix and he's the light of my life. i also really like wolves and arbor seals. :'))

when i was younger i used to be obsessed with kangaroos as well lmao
