Alright, so I'll just dive into this guide by talking about what you'll probably get before any other item. Of course, I'm talking about tanks. Now, There are many different sizes that people say is the minimum, but most people will agree that 2.5 gallons (13.24 liters) is the minimum. Now just because it's the minimum, doesn't mean it's the best size. A 2.5-gallon tank should only be used temporarily, or maybe for a baby betta. For long-term, I recommend a 5-gallon (18.9 liters) tank, which would be good for an adult betta long-term. Now bigger IS always better, so a 10-gallon tank (37.85 liters) is probably your best bet (Unless you could get a bigger tank). With a ten-gallon tank, you could add other fish in with your betta, or just keep it by itself. Either way, a ten-gallon tank is definitely your best bet.
