allergic to just one cat?

so UM my grandmother got a new 7 month old cat, his name his nugget and I think I'm allergic to him? I have two black cats myself and I've never been allergic to them.

I've been at my grandmother's house all day but as soon as he got around me I started sneezing and my nose started to feel stuffy and later my face started to itch.

I love him so much and he is so sweet but bacisally
I just came to ask if you could be allergic to just one cat?

Might be due to a poor diet? I know that can be an influence with dogs at least.

And sometimes it just happens. I'm severely allergic to some cats but have one of my own that I'm fine with. The immune system is a fickle thing

I'm not sure how allergies work, but i can say one thing: OMG THAT CAT LOOKS LIKE MY CHLOE!!
That's too bad tho, and I don't mean it in a bad/teasing way
