Susie First dog! I was very young and she just came busting out of the ditch and across the road to my grandpa's farmhouse. I was on the deck and started yelling doggie, doggie! Long story short, we took her home and loved her until she was stolen from our yard.
Sam My 8th birthday present. Beloved Rat Terrier who lived to 11 years old. I made the decision to put him down when the vet said "we can't treat it all without hurting him somewhere". It was an easy decision at the time, but it haunts me to this day. I wish I'd not had it done that moment. Wish I'd had a week more with him, but is any time ever enough?
Peanutbutter "Peanut" My dad named her with suggestions from my brother and I. "Peanut" "Pea" "PeaPea" "Leave that Cat Alone" are all names she responds to. She's a loveable oaf of a chocolate lab.
Magnus My precious ginger tomcat. I always hated orange cats, I always hated tabbies. He's an orange tabby, and I've honestly never seen a more gorgeous cat! He's got the personality to boot, too!
Shiro Is my Voltron showing? No? Okay. I got Shiro from a backyard breeder. Blue and Red Heeler mix. Smart as a whip at 9 weeks old. Cuter than any button ever. Precious baby boy, Shiro. I loved that dog, but he became too much for me to handle as my health began to decline. I cried for days before finding him a new home, days after, and still cry from time to time that I had to rehome him. The only thing that consoles me when I start to feel bad and miss him is that he's got a big yard and a doggie door so he can go in and out any time he wants. He's got two little kids to harass and steal food from, so I tell myself he'll be okay.
Puffer the puffer fish ate the angelfish, Marlin, Nemo, and the Poison Finny Fish. Plus Bubbles. Of course, he left the poison finny fish for last, then died himself. Eel "Brother Biter" the Eel was the last fish standing (swimming?)
Big Blue and Little Blue were my favorite fresh water fish, but don't ask me what kind they were. We also had a sucker fish.
I named my 100 baby tadpoles "taddy" "frogger" and "hopper" alternately, but ultimately only one Hopper Lived.
I intend to get a few hermit crabs. I haven't decided if I want silly names or serious names! I've only ever given animals serious names. Mostly fandom, excluding Sam.
