Dog sled advice

I have a 2year old GSD that has shown liking to pulling sled but sadly i do not have the right harness for him. I looked it up on the internet but could not find and tips for which haress to use.
It is a one dog sled as he is strong enough to pull. We 'trained' him with a bike because there was little snow this year, but he would pull a empty sled, we used the normal harness that is for walking dogs as well as a muzzle.

Does anyone know what kind of harness would be right for him?

The X back harness at the top of the web site Flossie posted are perfect for sleds.

I dont have experience with GSD's for sledding but we did own Sibes ( and GSD's ) and those were the harnesses we used.

I saw most people using them but I could not find any GSD with it on most have the Multipurpose Harnesses on, but from what i could get from a forum, it is that that one is not right for them...

These are multipurpose and can be used for any form of pulling sport its also custom measures to fit any breed of dog.

do you want to go in Sport with your Dogs?

do you know what harness you now like?
and dont forget the leash with shock absorbing part (bungee) when you dont already own one
also the right attachment for the bike, like bike antenna for dog joring like the ones from non-stop...do you use one for the front or next to you?

I was a bit bussy, so sorry for not responding. =$

No not really, we just do it for fun and because he loves to run.
I still am trying to pick the right one, I have a hard time deciding which one will not put to much pressure on his hips.
I use a regular leash nothing special because the one I used to use was torn when someone put it on him and he saw another dog... I do not have that part and there is NO shop in my whole country that sells anything dog sled related so I have to look online for the stuff and it is not that cheap... And he runes freely(usually he is in front but a bit to the side)

Yeh they are not used so much and I had to do some research before I actually decided if it is possible for him to pull. =P
