How many birds do you own?: one at the moment ; a green cheek conure named Ivy
How long have you had them?: Ivy is just six months old, but I have had birds for five years now c:
What brings you to the bird chat?: I honestly just wanted somewhere to be able to talk with other people about birds ; advise and such, I have never really met anyone that owns/are interested in owning birds, so it would be nice for me to talk to people who know these things c:

I dont know anyone as interested in birds as I am either husky! lol nobody near me really knows much about them it seems so coming on here and to precicelyparrots.com is my only escape LOL

Hai!~ I/We don't own a bird currently but we are on the search for our first budgie in years. Unfortunately finding a shelter is proving harder than I'd hoped, but we have the cage and all ready to bring one home whenever possible!
I'm going to enjoy reading about and looking at all of you guys' pretty birds and picking up info.

It took until early 2015 for the little bugger to trust me, finches in my opinion, finches tend to be the most skittish birds, besides wild ones of course. c:

I agree. Ours are 5 and still run away when we get their water out LOL

I never even knew finches could become hand tame, that's amazing! I guess with the right amount of training anything can c:
