There are bunch of topics for other reptiles such as geckos and snakes but I've never seen a topic just for turtles and tortoises.
So I thought: "Why not make one?"
Here you can share pictures of your beloved pet or ask questions or share opinions on turtles and tortoises.
All I ask is that you try to be respectful to other people.

I'm heading to Petco tomorrow to pick up a new tank for my two babies Nala and Lassiter, it will take a few days to set up but I'm sure they will love it. c:
And since ill have their old tank I can get a new redeared slider.

I got a 55 gallon at Petco, I'm going to start setting it up tomorrow~
I also underestimated how big it would be, I don't even need to use my old tank for the new turt I'm getting.
I can just keep them all in the same tank.
Of course I'd make sure the new turtle isn't sick first.
Considering where I'm getting it from it most likely will be though.
So I should prepare to treat it, if I had to guess it will most likely have shell rot or softshell.

Thats a terrible idea. All the turtles from the chinatown meat markets are way too big for a 55 gallon, especially with another turtle.

I actually know a butcher who raises them from hatchlings, I'm only getting a 3 inch baby, and ill of course get it a bigger tank once its 4-5 inches. c:
