I don't think all dart frogs can kill you, just some. Plus they might not handle them?

When dart frogs are in captivity, they don't have poison, they make their poison out of the venomous ants that they eat in the wild :) Feed them pinhead crickets, and boom! No poison :)

Ohhh. That makes sense, (I don't know much about dart frogs).

I bought some small black crickets for my 4 toads, I put one in with the 4 and nothing happened. We've tried and tried to feed them and ended up with dead crickets and frozen bloodworms in our freezer. They just won't eat!

What kind of toads? Different toads have different diet requirements, so perhaps you're feeding the wrong food?

They're common toads (British ones) im keeping them for a few days to watch because I wanted to see them eat. I read they like bug larvae, slugs and worms. And the adults eat slow worms and grass snakes but obviously I have none of those and I've tried slugs and worms but they completely ignore them! I think it may be because they have just awaken from hibernation?

Yeah, this! Captive bred darts are harmless, and wild caught ones (which are rare in the trade) lose their toxins over time.

IIRC no one is even really sure what dart frogs are eating in the wild to make them so toxic.
