I hope he is still with his mama, he sees awfully young still. 12-14 weeks old is a good age to leave them with their moms.It gives the puppies time to learn things from her.

He is pretty, I had a friend with an otterhound/airedale mix back in 1992. His name was Barkus and he was such a sweet old dog. He looked like an otterhound but head wirehair.

8 is better than 6 or 7 like some breeders do. We used to raise Schnauzers and learned that the moms teach the puppies about whats is socially ok and what isn't. Puppies who left mom earlier bite more, are harder to potty train and harder to teach.
