We had a petco open up today for a "soft opening" their grand opening is going to be on Saturday.

It's a really nice building, and town finally has a competitor to the three Petsmarts we have.

Went in with my mom, got some of the "fresh baked" treats for the dogs.

Lilly got her own bag of "Cookie Drops" they're a training treat, Literally just a drop of cookie with a cacao chip in them.
We got like 3 pounds of treats total for the 5 dogs.
Spent $18 plus tax, so really it wasn't that bad for the variety we got.
Some minty treats for fresher smelling breath, small treats for Gizmo, training treats for Lilly as well as a few bigger treats for well.... treats.

Lilly is taking to learning Stay and Watch Me. Watch me has been treatless for a while, Stay is a work in progress.

Training is working well for Lilly though. ♥

I probably shouldn't be asking this but I will anyway.

Charlie is out of control. I asked one of the ladies at the shelter what they're doing to help him and she said she doesn't know. The manager comes around every few days and she seems to have an understanding of how to handle him. Nobody but the manager ever really goes near his cage, I tried to calm him down with treats but he ignores them and keeps barking like he's a hound from hell.
I know he's not my dog but I want to help him find a home.
I have quit. Goodbye.

Not surprising at all since PetLand gets their puppies from puppy mills in unhealthy living conditions.

Day 2 of the photo challenge! Theme: Shadows

Not happy at all with my shoot today, the day got away from me and I didn't have as much time as I needed to think through my concept and actually make it work :/ I will be revisiting this theme in the future for sure!

My second choice from today. Don't love it either but figured I'd share anyways lol

No way! Pete's face? In a picture?!?! It must be the end of the world.

I had them wait outside while I cleaned the house. They just sit there staring wistfully inside until I either let them back in or go outside with them.

Gizzy seems to be more comfortable in the house now, she usually runs to my room in the morning because Snookie hides from her in there. It's really funny to watch.

2 1/2 years. People always think he's way older than he is, we got him when he was around 10 months and he already looked like an old man

Pete isn't as chill about me messing with his face as JJ is so it's blurry, but here's his teeth. Still crystal clean.

I am cheating today and using the photo of Kes with her head on her paws/leaves for the challenge. Didn't have time to do anything but it fits the theme of Paws and Leaves great anyways lol

Since I was late today, I only had time to do one activity with the dogs, so we went out to practice some agility! Kes is starting to figure out how to go around the back of a jump which is great and will help a ton! Chewie just did some tricks and some jumping and focus work since he's a mess lol

Kes also got a slap of reality in learning to lay calmly on the sidelines while I worked another dog. As you can see, she pouted the entire time lol. Gotta learn to be calm and not my center of attention though, especially once the puppy comes home! (I generally work my two seperate since they are two totally different levels of insanity, but gonna start working them together occasionally)
