giggling and kicking my feet over being able to show a picture of my boy!! meet simba, everyone!
he’s grown into quite the chonk. we adopted him from one of my mum’s friends who’s cat had kittens! he is such a handsome boy. we named him after simba from the lion king, which is fitting!
i call him my simba man or my simba boy, and of course, “my love” which my mum hates but cant do anything about :’)
he’s a chonk so he’s a lil heavy but i love him all the same. we just moved and he’s scared of my ceiling fan (we’ve never had one before) so he won’t sleep in my bed with me yet.
i often call him a bread loaf because when he “loafs up” he’ll tuck his paws underneath him and i think he looks like a loaf of bread. sometimes he’ll even fall asleep like that, with his chin on his chest.

oh my gourd, adorable! Love it when cats forget to act aloof and have a cuddle. I'll have to dig up a pic of my cat's son with his arms wrapped around her some time.

I was about to say he looks like the cat from Kiki's delivery service, and then I googled his name and it's exactly that! Cute kitten, and such a fitting name.

Do you have any suggestions as to stop clingy? Roo will meow at the top of her lungs for 5-10 minutes straight she HAS to be wherever I am.. how do you stop a overly clingy cat? She’s 5 months if that helps any.

I had the same problem when my cat was a kitten
What I did to was I'd go outside for a minute, then come back in and give her attention. I did that once or twice a day every day and stayed out longer every other time. (if she's meowing for you, wait til she stops before coming back in)
I also tried to stay out of the room when I fed her

Also, make sure she has lots of toys/stimulation/napping spots available for when you're not there. And it might help if you have a routine for her if you don't already, like feeding her at certain times/playing with her for at least 30min/day/cuddle time if you have extra time during the day

I feel like there was something else but I'm blanking rn, but those are some things that helped my cat get over her separation anxiety
She still misses me when I'm not home, but she's figured out how to cope on her own and she doesn't need to follow me around all day anymore c:
