this is a monster cat i made! it's made of a thick, dark blue ink that's perpetually dripping (as you can see i love drippy designs) and can morph from a more feral form to something anthro-y. it has a back that protrudes, fungus growing outward from the protrusion. its tail usually drags across the ground, making an ink trail wherever it goes. its paws drip as well and leave ink trails- in fact, there is an ink trail or spot left behind anywhere its body makes contact.

anyways, he's a decaying hyena monster c: his coat is infested with shelf fungi, and a bleeding fungi called hydnellum peckii. the bleeding fungi continually produces more 'blood' and it often overflows. his eyes are infested with the bleeding fungi, and as a result, there's always a trail of 'blood' from his eyes. his veins have been completely taken over by the fungi, so his bodily functions are pretty much run by the shelf / bleeding fungi. yikes o.o
he's also separated at a few points in his body no biggie - note that where he is about cut in half, the shelf fungi at his midsection hold him together there

Question-- is this getting judged based on design or artistic ability? Because I have good ideas, I'm just not sure how to execute them.

Is it okay if I get help from a friend who can draw well (my art skills are okay, but not the best)? If not, that's totally fine.

Both, honestly. Like if you have a really cool idea and it's not executed well, you'll have a chance. But like... put some effort in, you know? I don't want five second scribbles.
