Can you post art and see who offers the best pet or amount of CS dollars for that piece of art, and then the winner gets all the rights to use the artwork (But my name will be in the corner of the artwork ><)

We have other users already doing that in the CS Adoptable for Art forum.

Okay, I am a little confused.... if you bid on something, can the person auctioning automatically cancel without giving you a chance?

Is there a rule about ratings? :3
Sometimes I see something like , " not a chance !!11!!!1!! y did u bid ? :x "
Do you think something like that could be offensive , maybe ?
I don't really know , so forgive me this is completely pointless . ;-;

You are my hero.

I agree with this. I have actually seen people have a smile point system, and actually have a smile dedicated to "Bid not accepted" or something like that. They'll have a list of people who can't bid because their bid "Wasn't good enough". I have also seen people say "Once you bid you can not take your bid away."
so I haven't been on this site in like, forever, so I'm briefly back on to get rid of lots of my pets in exchange for art of my dog. Also if you do art and want pets send me a pm I'd love to work something out
You can contact me on my tumblr - @puppiesfortheblind - if I don't respond in a reasonable timeframe

Yes. It's their pet and can decide to cancel the auction whenever they like.

There isn't a rule about rating and most bidders prefer a rating system so they know if they are not in first place or not. But if the rating it rude, please report it.

A list like that is considered a trading black list and should be reported since that's not allowed.

And the "Once you bid, you cannot take your bid away" rule is silly since users can cancel anytime and there is nothing the auctioneer can do about it.

Re: CS Auction Rules

Postby Lerumei » Mon Jan 16, 2012 11:01 am

This is my first time posting on a rules thread and just so you know I don't know if I'm posting for the right reason but I did read the rules.
I had bid last month(December) and the bid was set to end on January 1st.
I noticed the user bidding the pet off had been gone for the holidays so I just waited a few days.
When I noticed they had been on just a few days after I sent them a message to see if they were ending the auction with a winner or not.
They received by message but didn't reply to it but I told myself maybe they just read it but didn't have time to answer it.
Just recently they are now auction the pet I had bid on along with two other pets but they are all up for auction separately and the pet I was bidding for has no new offers on the new thread they have made.
I sent them a message and they of course have been on since they are updating their new thread with offers.
Though what I don't get is are they ignoring me?
Mainly I say this is because the new message which I sent yesterday is still waiting to be opened but they've been on and have been updating their new auction thread.
Also, my bid is still sitting in my trading center and if they didn't like it or they were canceling the auction without a winner wouldn't they have cancelled it and said that they were ending the auction in their thread or by PM as most would do?
So what I have to say is what should I do about this situation?
