They use optically(?) sorted oats, which isn't perfect. And since they batch test, they didn't always find the gluten. It was a situation where some boxes were fine and others weren't.
Cheerios made me super sick last year, and I stopped eating them.
Unless oats are grown and transported separately from wheat in the first place, they aren't truly gluten free because the sorting is imperfect.
