(TSR). The game has been published by Wizards of the Coast (now a subsidiary of Hasbro) since 1997."

Part of our club includes playing the game! We do text-based campaigns over discord, and here is where we keep a record of our past and present games!

The Curse of Skeersgire Start date: March 2, 2019

Dungeon Master: Actionbat
"Each one of you has received a letter from the huge trade city in the north of the country of Reddan, named Skeersgire. The letter seems hastily written, with large inky letters sprawling messily across the dirty parchment informing you that there is a terrible, unknown threat that has blighted the town. The letter goes into no sort of details and gives no information on the cause or nature

of this threat but only that it is grand and if no one intervenes it promises the death of Skeersgire, and possibly the death of Reddan. The letter urges you to help, and if you’re interested you will be rewarded handsomely by Lord Kierkegaard, one of the 3 lords who govern over Skeersgire. Those who wish to take on the job are instructed to meet at The Twin’s Ears Tavern in the town of Bendt, just outside of Skeersgire."
Genre: Mystery, horror

I know it's been five days, but I'm kinda a newbie to D&D. ^^
I tried playing one game which... Didn't really turn out well so..

I love that game! I am not a newbie, I first played years ago! My father used to play the game since the 80s, and made me discover it.
I usually play to the first versions of the game, and my favorite aspect is the roleplay aspect (which is why I prefer the earliest versions, I find the more recent ones more technical, less about roleplay)
I am not playing any campaign at the moment (I am currently playing campaigns of other tabletop RPGs, but not Dungeons and Dragons).
It's weird (and sad) how many people play online RPG but have never tried to play this game.

What are your favorite types of characters to play?

@Arya - man sorry to hear your game didn't go so well, hopefully the next game you play goes so much better! I can understand the struggle as my last game I played my DM was horrible.

favourite type of character to play
My first game I played a ranger, I've always been one to play sneaky archery based characters.
But my last two games I've played a cleric and I think I found my favourite.
My currently cleric is an old homeless dirty looking cleric who worships Apollo. He's an odd one, loves shiny things and has no problems with stealing or looting he only cares about life, and guiding people to their correct after life. He doesn't like to talk, and when he does he actually uses sign language while talking out of habit with his past life.
