@munch > completely agreed. if it weren't an adopt and was just a lineart i was making for personal use, i would probably pick to use the sitting pose. but the standing one has more space for designs, as well as room for the wings and tails since the body is positioned horizontally rather than vertically. there'll probably be one or two mutations that won't fit because of the small canvas, but it's fine. i personally put in my vote for the current linework, but it doesn't matter because i'm not counting my vote and i just needed to see the results.

(assuming the small standing lines win) if i can get a stream to work (and if y'all remember from asteria walkers, my computer likes to throw a fit every time i try to start up join.me) would you like to watch me make the mutations or nah? if i finish with enough time, i might also make a litter/do some free customs just to get the feel of working with the lines.

since, as per usual, the stream wouldn't work. i'll let the users here on the chat thread be the first to know that all of the mutations on the main thread have been updated! some crests and tails were done away with, as well as the 'unlocking mutations over time' feature.

i'm glad everyone's happy with the new mutations, i'm definitely proud of how they turned out <3
i'm especially excited to use the mane mutation, i think that's one of my favorite's overall because it's the only one i didn't have to sketch out first. i just kinda put pixels where i thought they should go, and i really like how it looks! though i'm not certain it looks like a horse mane, like i thought it would. it really just looks like hair to me, which is fine too~


i am a little bit nervous about some mutation combos, though. some of the tails get completely covered by the imperial wings (nightmare, lion, and fin), which is the main reason i switched fin from a rare to a legendary mutation (so i don't have to deal with this problem as often). these aren't problems for me, because i know how i would want to edit the lines to make them fit together nicely if i need to, but i don't about future artists being able to figure that out. i'll probably just have to make a couple little examples of those mutation combos to show it. i dunno~

but the next thing i need to work on now, is getting currency exchange opened up so i can work on the bazaar, customs, and item shop. i also need to replace all the current headers with ones of the new lineart so no one gets confused~
